The weather
Bonaire has a tropical climate, with distinctive characteristics like lot of sunshine with trade wind almost the whole day. The average temperature over the year is around 27.5 grade Celsius. A day without sunshine is rare. Rain, only during early morning hours, short and heavy and also regional. Generally you will find a dry and sunny climate over the whole year. The water temperature is with an average of 26.8 grade Celsius very close to the air temperature. Due to the fact that Bonaire is close to the equator, daylight time is always the same over the whole year.
